A few years ago, we created our first introductory animation for the TEDxDanubia stage, specifically for a presentation by our CEO, Tamás Kőszegi, inspired by the international TED conferences. Today, the animated name badge is one of our most popular services. It is a special pleasure for us that there is no conference where the speakers do not mention how good it felt and how honored they were to see the introduction animation for their presentation.
Depending on the visual concept, we manufacture different types of name badges. What they have in common is the length: they last as long as the speaker takes to reach the stage. Since it is unpleasant for the guest to stand on stage waiting for their own introduction animation to end, it is the simplest to determine the length within a framework of a rehearsal. We also create music for the name animation.
Many events create their introduction animations in a single central design, but for added impact, we can also create different versions. The 2017 TEDxDanubia was the peak in this regard, where visitors to the MÜPA stage could see a total of 9 different name badges. Here we show 3 of them, which we used within a single act:
This animation’s more complicated version involves displaying the speakers’ photos as well. We first used this in 2018, and due to its great success, we recommend it to all of our clients.
Of course, the service is not only available for conferences, but competitions also use it. For example, the Syoss Hair & Fashion Award Show used such videos to introduce the finalists and their creations. To ensure a uniform visual appearance, we organized separate photo shoots for the finalists for these animations. A special feature of this animation is that we also recorded each and every designer’s signature in advance, which also appeared in the finished visual element in a realistic way.
If the stage spectacle allows, the name animations can cover multiple surfaces. A good example of this is the Tourism Award Gala, where the names fly across 7 LED walls, creating a quite dramatic effect in the large space.
