New trends in live stream animations – Part 2 – Exciting branding elements

Sometimes live stream and event animation are difficult to separate – that happened at the 2021 TEDxDanubia Countdown too, where we were able to plan a design for the stage of Vígszínház – which was actually sold out -, while the live stream integration was an equally important element of the event. We also used a special branding element here: in addition to the traditional projection screen content, we also hid another large projector covering the entire stage, which projected a continuous, moving loop onto the surrounding curtain. The combined work of the two projectors created a very special visual experience for the viewers.

Of course, the primary area of live stream animation takes place in the online space. And the first interface that we are already using is the countdown before the broadcast. So the show itself has not even started, but we are already able to make an impact. Our animated countdown always contains a background animation with the same level of detail as the LED wall, and we also use this interface to display practical information, such as agendas and program booklets.

Another solution that we really like is the dramatized countdown. We also display this on our LED walls, of course. It might not seem so important at first, but guests love to take selfies with it, and it conveys the message through the screens that something exciting is about to start.

Our live streams always start with spectacular broadcast headlines. We tend to invest a lot of energy in these, because this is the opening of the whole event and one of the most important dramatic points. The headlines can be purely entertaining ones, but we often use them to display information functionally, for example, we can introduce guests and speakers on it.

The broadcast block is often separated by bridges and wishes. They can mean the end of a conversation, the start of a new topic, or simply the beginning of a coffee break. For us, these wishes are opportunities to bring the spectacular title back and remind people what an exciting visual show they are watching.
