Many customer requests come to us to explain the process of work step by step, from the moment they contact us until the final delivery. Although each order is different, we strive for a fairly transparent production structure for our corporate clients, which consists of the following points:
The first step is requesting / providing a quote. Corporate clients, if they want to order a commercial or animation from us, request a quote from us. It is important to note that it is difficult to give a price for a sketchy concept, so we ask that you describe what you want as accurately as possible. All information is of interest to us, such as length or style. If you are uncertain, it is also good if you send us commercials or animations that you like, explaining why you want them to be similar. The cost of an animation primarily depends on the visual style, while the cost of a commercial is influenced by the number of actors, the complexity of the locations and scenes, so we cannot give a price based on length alone. Timing is also important, as we can achieve optimal production costs if we can schedule the project ourselves, rather than needing it to be done immediately. If we cannot give definite prices, we will indicate a range of what can be expected. Quotes are rarely given over the phone, as we like to keep ourselves to what we promise, so we discuss each quote thoroughly among ourselves. Prices are always final, with no hidden costs.
After the personal meeting, our studio will send a contract draft to the client. Of course, if you have a contract that you want to use, that is also possible. However, our experience is that it is easier for our clients if we send a contract specifically optimized for advertising films, which they only review and possibly make corrections here and there. The contract also clarifies the payment schedule, which varies from project to project. We rarely request an advance payment, and generally recommend a two-step payment, one in the middle of the production and one at the end. If the project is not too complex, it is enough to pay after the advertising film is completed. Most competitors specify return numbers and occasions when changes can be requested on the material afterwards. We don’t have anything like that, and strive for complete satisfaction.
At this point in our collaboration, we definitely need your company’s corporate branding book, or if you don’t have one, reference materials, so that we can adjust the visual aspect to your requirements. If you don’t have any corporate identity guidelines, we usually take the website and logo as a basis and adjust the film’s visual aspect to that.
